Hello, friends!
While my submission numbers soared in January with a total of nine stories submitted and three of those accepted so far (the other six are still pending), February has been more about digging in and getting some work done on longer projects. I did, however, still manage to get out two new submissions to online publications. And I’m happy to announce that they were both accepted!
Recently, I’ve delved into the world of writing Micro Fiction. It’s been a fun creative exercise and a challenge to write a story that invokes an emotion in a reader using a limited word count. My 1oo-word story, “The Daily Grind”, is one example. It was accepted by CafeLit and became available for viewing on February 23rd. You can read it for free here:

I’m also pleased to announce that my short story, “Spectacles”, has been accepted by Spillwords Press. I stepped out of my comfort zone with writing this story, and it is of a darker nature than what many of you will be used to reading from me. Yet, it is still a story I am proud to have taken some risks with, and I am happy that it has found a home with Spillwords. It will be available for viewing at https://spillwords.com/ on March 3rd.
In addition to the “Books” page on my website which includes a list of anthologies that feature my short stories, I will also be adding a page for “Stories” where I will list links for any of my work that is published and available to read online.
Until next time, much love to all my followers! Have a wonderful week!
